couldn't give 5 stars because i didn't make it all the way. I didn't make the sauce because well- couldn't find the ingredients! :-( I love Paula and anything she fries up has to be GREAT- this went over well with the whole family. but let me tell you that 1 lb of okra will feed 4 people. thanks for sharing another one of paula's master recipes

Since we have the deep fryer out this week, I made 2 servings for Buddha (since I don't care for okra). He really loved this. I didn't have the chili sauces, so I took mayo, Got the 2bleu's Hot Sauce, added a bit of honey to get it sweet, and a dash of garlic powder for the garlic, and omitted the red pepper. This was what I came up with, in order to similate the chili sauce. It turned out really well. The okra fried up nice and golden. I even tried a piece and liked it. Thanks for posting. :)
