You're right. It does make a lot of greens, but that's okay because I wanted to share with all my family. The taste was great with the cabbage mellowing the greens a little.

I only have a suggestion. The recipe is great. I fix it every now and then, especially for family dinners. I sometimes either use smoked neck bones or smoked turkey wings, and I add a little sugar to cut out a little of the collard's bitterness.

Yummm is all I can see.....We froze the leftovers! It was just that good! Great with sweet cornbread! Yummmm! Didn't have to make any modifications

Great recipe. I used a smoked turkey leg instead. My family loved it. I even went back a couple times to get more. Thank you.

My love for Collard Greens and Cabbage made me want to try this. My goodness I am so blessed I did. The Cabbage did mellow the Collards. I did however miss judge my water and got the cabbage a bit more cooked than I wanted..but that is my fault. I will for sure be making this for my family come Sept. Thank You very much for a wonder recipe. Hugs
