Easy Peach Cobbler

"I was a little girl when I watched my Uncle Harry make this recipe. After dinner, it was served piping hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The crust is to die for!"

  • Empty can of peaches into 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in large bowl. Add beaten egg and cut into flour mixture. The majority of the flour mixture will look “crumby.”.
  • Spread flour mixture, evenly, over top of peaches.
  • Pour melted butter on top of flour mixture.
  • Bake in pre-heated 350 f degree oven for about an hour, or until crust is golden brown.

  2. This is such an easy dessert to put together ~ favorful and looks great right out of the oven. I made as written except I cut the sugar by half and used gluten-free flour. Wonderful dish for a potluck or bbq get-together. Thanks Irishcolleen ~ made for Spring PAC 2010!
     
  3. You couldn't ask for anything to be easier! I used a 29-oz can of no sugar added peaches and it was sweet enough with the 1 cup of sugar. You would be sure to impress your guests if you pulled this out of the oven! Made for Fall PAC 2009.
