I made this last night. My husband and I loved it. The only thing I would change is, add more peaches, which I did. I think 4 or 5 medium size peaches would be just right. Theola From Iowa

This is by far the best peach cobbler I've ever tasted! And it was very easy and quick. Thanks for a great recipe, and I too am sure I'll be making this a lot this summer! I did use more peaches than was called for as I had 4 that really needed to be used, otherwise I made it exactly as written. Can't wait to try this with other fruits!

This was so easy and the taste was woo-hoo!! This was our dessert for our holiday cook-out. I made two of these and they were gone in no time. This is the perfect summertime dessert. Thanks Inez.

Wonderful dessert. Nothing better than fresh peaches in the summertime. This was very easy to prepare. I did not make any changes. Thanks for sharing this.

i love this recipe and have been experimenting. i use canned peaches and a longer pan with less bake time. as well i don't need as much sugar on the peaches.

This is great! And it seems fool-proof, too. I used six smallish peaches, and my only other change was to put brown sugar with the peaches and white in the cobbler part. Really yummy, thanks for the recipe!

I used 6 large peaches and doubled the recipe. My only change was to use 2 cups Splenda Granulated and 1 cup sugar. My 9x13 baking dish was full but I just had a neighbor come and sample this. We both loved it and I gave her a copy of the recipe. Now I will need to keep out of it and save for company coming on Monday. Thanks for posting.

I made this as written and it turned out great - both hubby and I thought it was awesome. I used fresh peaches and probably more than what was called for but with all the fresh peaches it was hard to resist. Peaches turned out soft and sweet and the topping turned out brown and soft and carmelized it places, it was great. No leftovers and I will be making this again this week to take to our campsite. This will also be a great fall dessert when it turns cooler outside. Try this recipe, you won't want to miss out!

Oh, I forgot to rate it. 5 stars for sure.

Also: I never bother peeling the peaches. It would be a waste of time and effort.

I found this recipe to be WAY short on peaches, way too much butter, and much too sweet. I increased peaches to 5, reduced butter to about 2/3 stick, and reduced sugar to 1 rounded cup total. If peaches are really ripe and sweet, I only use 1 level cup. I add 1 Tbsp., or so, of lemon juice to peaches to enhance flavor. I also use buttermilk instead of regular milk - just a personal perference This is my "final answer" for a peach cobbler recipe. Wonderful! No leftovers!

Thanks to the other reviewers I used 4 large fresh peaches and cut the butter in half. I also sprinkled a little cinnamon over the top of the peaches. I served with home made vanilla ice cream. This is a good recipe when you are looking for a different take on cobbler. I think I prefer the pie crust top when looking for a true cobbler dish and would call this more a peach shortcake. It is good and I will make again.
