I was looking for different version's of fried okra. Well needless to say, I didn't find a one so this is my momma's recipe.
- Take the ends off and cut into several peices.
- Beat the egg and put the okra in coat well then add the cormeal.
- Fry it until golden brown.
- I normally put the cornmeal in a zip lock bag and that coats the oka.
- I also use my iron skillet that makes the golden brown.
